Maestro Paolo Reyes
Reyes graduated in 2013 with his Masters of Music degree with an emphasis in orchestral conducting from Sacramento State University, under the tutelage of Leo Eylar. Since then he has appeared as guest conductor for numerous orchestras across northern California, such as the Sacramento Youth Symphony, Napa Valley Youth Symphony, Rancho Cordova Civic Light Orchestra, and as an assistant conductor for the Lake Tahoe Music Festival.
Joining Reyes in this Performance at Pioneer will be pianist Renee Harris and cellist Natalie Hagwood.
Harris holds a bachelor of music in piano performance from Sacramento State University, and while there she won the university’s concerto competition with the Schumann Piano Concerto in A Minor.
Hagwood has been playing cello since age 7 and completed a bachelor of music in cello performance from the University of Nevada Reno. She previously toured Germany with the Helmuth Rilling Weimar Bach Academy.
